It has been a long time since I have written on here. I need to make it more of a priority.
Anyways, I love being a stay at home mom. It has the best of everything....I can stay in my pjs all day if I want, I get to be with my child all day, I am my own boss. It's great! But I feel like I want to contribute financially to my family. Even though us stay at home moms do the job of about a dozen people, sadly we don't get paid! So now I'm on a mission to see if I can work from home part time. Not sure what I will do or how I will do it but I want to try.
Yay! Blogging again!! I kept meaning to ask you if you had quit for good. I felt the same way about financially contributing and tutoring seems to be a good way to bring in a little extra money. It's only $85 a week, but I still think of that as gas money or entertainment money. Anything you can make and sell on etsy? You could watch someone's kid in your home once and a while? I have no idea what people do in their homes to make money...but I'm sure you can think of something! Oh, you could sell your chili :) I'd totally buy it!!
ReplyDeleteBets - you eat chili?! I feel like I'm in some sort of bizzarro world.
ReplyDeleteJeannie I hope you don't mind me commenting, because OF COURSE I read your blog. I online-stalk everyone that I have any sort of connection to in real life. ;)
I love Betsy's idea of opening an etsy shop, are you crafty? You seem like someone who would be crafty, but what the heck do I know?!
Again I just got back on here and read your posts ladies! I'm being a blogging slacker. Thanks for the support. I do like to be crafty (although I'm not sure if I'm any good). That is a good idea about opening up a little business on etsy. Scott has said the same thing. I will definitely think about what I can do. Another thought was go back to school I have always wanted to be a nutritionist. We will see though!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading! :):)
